Rock icon Bret Michaels to headline Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Déjà Vu Rock of Ages

Multi-platinum global music superstar Bret Michaels will headline the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Déjà Vu Rock of Ages, a benefit for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County in celebration of the nonprofit’s 50th anniversary.  Déjà Vu Rock of Ages will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 7th at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

“We’re thrilled to have Bret Michaels take the stage at Déjà Vu Rock of Ages,” said Malena Mendez, President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County.  “Bret has epitomized the best of rock over a career that has inspired three generations of loyal fans and followers. His international acclaim fits perfectly within the rock vibe and upbeat atmosphere of our Déjà Vu Rock of Ages. We’re very excited that Déjà Vu, complete with an internationally acclaimed musician, is back to celebrate 50 years of a golden legacy!”

The son of a veteran and a lifelong Type 1 diabetic, Michaels’ legendary career encompasses record-breaking touring sales, reality TV stardom, chart-topping songs that have sold more than 50 million records, product endorsements as well as a career-long dedication to philanthropy.

Fresh off the smash success of last season’s Stadium Tour, Michaels will be taking time out of his current Parti-Gras Tour for the event. Bringing the spirit of Parti-Gras to this amazing concert fits with Michaels’ long tradition of giving back and helping others keep an unbroken spirit.

In addition to the rockstar magic of Bret Michaels, the Déjà Vu concert event will honor Ana Cedeno, who served as president and CEO at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward for 27 years, and Dan Schevis, a founding board member of the organization,

with Legacy awards.  The Leslie L. Alexander Foundation, a generous supporter, also will be recognized with a Champion of Children award.

Déjà Vu Rock of Ages is expected to attract a full house of guests wearing rock-and-roll attire, complete with studs and fringe, leather and lace, and of course, Michaels’ signature bandana and cowboy hat.  In addition to the rockin’ performance by Michaels, guests will enjoy a cocktail reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres and entertainment, gourmet dinner stations, DJ, dancing and awards program.
