Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County Adds Board Members

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County continues to build a strong volunteer leadership team with the addition of the following board members:  David Angel, Esq., CPA, Legal and Compliance Counsel; Adam Corin, Esq., owner of Niroc Consultants, Inc.; Miguel Cruz, Director of Medicare Internal Captive Sales at Florida Blue; Dr. Stephanie Etter, Vice Provost, Academic Services and Learning Resources at Broward College; and Lania Rittenhouse, Vice President, Guest Experience, Brand & Communications, at Spirit Airlines.

David Angel, Esq., CPA, is a legal and compliance attorney who assists with legal and compliance work. His experience includes Call Time Manager on the finance team of Debbie Mucarsel-Powell for Congress; Conference Coordinator for RepresentUS annual Unrig Summit; Associate (Financial Institutions Group) at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP and Legal Intern in the U.S. Attorney’s Office Southern District of New York.

 

 

Adam Corin, Esq., owner of Niroc Consultants, serves as an independent consultant/broker in the PEO and Payroll industries for small to mid-size companies. He advises clients nationwide on outsourcing solutions for their business in the area of employee administration. Corin serves on the boards of HANDY, ARC, Broward and NSU Levan Ambassadors and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale/Cypress Creek and 211 Broward Ambassador Council.

 

 

Miguel Cruz, Director of Medicare Internal Captive Sales at Florida Blue, prepares enrollment forecasts, marketing plans, membership goals, and other measurement statistics required to monitor and direct sales team, among other responsibilities. Cruz formerly held board positions at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Palm Beach, Miami Greater Chamber of Commerce and Latin Chamber of Broward County.  He also is a past corporate member of the Greater West Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce and former administrator, coach and divisional representative of the Soccer Association of Boca Raton.

 

Dr. Stephanie Etter, Vice Provost, Academic Services and Learning Resources at Broward College, provides leadership for the A. Hugh Adams Central Campus and serves as the College’s academic leader in administering and supporting college-wide professional development and employee training programs. Over the past decade at Broward College, Etter has served as interim associate dean, Information Technology on the North Campus, and dean, Business Programs. For the past two years, she served as interim dean, Information Technology and Engineering, STEM Pathway.

 

Lania Rittenhouse, Vice President, Guest Experience, Brand & Communications at Spirit Airlines, provides a holistic approach to leveraging partnerships across the organization helps to optimize the guest journey, all while delivering the best value in the sky. Rittenhouse has lived and traveled to 65+ countries and has successfully led strategic initiatives in guest experience, product development, global business development, and business operations. At Spirit Airlines, she also serves as the President of the Spirit Charitable Foundation.
