Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County – Youth Mentoring
Children come from all walks of life. So, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution to making an impact on them.
This initiative is specific to the needs and vulnerabilities of LGBTQ+ youth by providing a trusting, confidential, one-to-one relationship between LGBTQ+ mentees and mentors through site-based mentoring.
This program introduces youth in middle and high school to the workplace, giving them an opportunity to learn about the corporate world first-hand.
This program provides caring adult role models to children coping with parental incarceration.
Nearly 200 young adults age out of the foster care system in Broward County every year.
We all need someone we can relate to. Sometimes there’s no better role model for an African-American child than an African-American adult.
In partnership with the Latino community, we can help Latino children navigate the world around them and prepare them for adulthood.
