Partners Support our Mission in a Variety of Ways
Community-Based Mentoring: Encourage your employees to be Bigs through our community-based mentoring program. This program provides the opportunity to mentor a child for a year. It also is flexible enough to accommodate employee schedules. Set targets, hold recruitment fairs, facilitate communication internally and become part of the magic. For more information on this program, click here.
Site-Based Mentoring: Become a sponsor of a School-Based Mentoring program where employees mentor children at their school or another site in the community. Employees get the rewards from the one on one relationship with their Little as well as the benefit of interacting with other mentors in a supervised setting. This program requires a commitment from October to May and takes place one day during the week either for an hour in the morning or the afternoon. Our partners generously underwrite the cost of their program. Click here for more information about School Based Mentoring. For more information on this program, click here.
Event Sponsorship: Big Brothers Big Sisters also hosts a set schedule of special events with opportunities for corporate sponsorship and participation.
Picnic or Party: Donate picnics or holiday parties to our children and their volunteers. Help us celebrate their involvement in our organization.
Agency General Operating Support: Grants from foundations and corporations support the agency's general operating budget so that we are able to increase the number of children we serve. The cost to support each match is approximately $1,000.
