Hello and Happy New Year! We are delighted to invite you to have the opportunity to participatein the 2008 Swing for the Kids tournament, to be held for the third straight year at the beautifulParkland Golf & Country Club on April 25th.
Help us celebrate the 35th Anniversary of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward. As recipient of the proceeds in 2008, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County promises to help make this an unforgettable event with superior raffle and auction items, dedicated supporters and a host of new players and sponsors.
We’ve added a Spa Day option for non-golfers at the tremendous Parkland G&CC Spa with several choices to help make the afternoon relaxing and memorable. Bring a family member or guest to enjoy the day.
Reservations are due no later than Feb. 25th for the Spa. We’re planning a fun pre-tournament party to be held on April 24th, at a venue in Broward to be announced. Eat, drink and be merry – plus you’ll have a chance to win one of several great door prizes not available at the tournament. Everyone who attends will get one mulligan ticket – the only mulligans we will allow at the tournament.
Due to the tremendous and enthusiastic response, we’ll once again offer Maui Jim sunglasses for each paid golfer. On the course, we expect to host three hole-in-one prizes with plans for three great cars including a Mustang convertible and Lexus. You’ll want to be on top of yourshort game to try and win one of these great vehicles.
You’ll also enjoy the amenities of the course including the “five-star” clubhouse, a great drivingrange and awesome putting green. Your taste buds will be rewarded with an executive box lunch and a truly fine gourment dinner with the post-tournament awards hosted by an emcee you’ll remember for a long time. We have held the price from last year, with an early birdpayment option.
